The Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, will this December beam with a lot of theatre activities at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), fast growing as the theatre hub. On Monday, December 13 2021, Olipliche Productions will for the second time present a William Shakespeare classic – Macbeth – the much acclaimed tragedy at the Great Hall auditorium. It is in collaboration with the Department of English and the Centre for Cultural and African Studies all of KNUST, Also in collaboration with European Union and Centre Mondial et Culturel du Quebec. The plays, however, have attracted various audiences apart from the set targets.
